Teamwork: The Next Man Up!

What does the next man up mean? In football or baseball it means no excuses. No matter what the position is or how far down the depth chart a player is, everyone prepares like they expect to play. They are ready for the game! When a player's number is called, he or she is not overwhelmed when they are put in the game! The next man up concept is seen throughout the Bible. Moses died…Joshua was the next man up! Paul and Barnabas, Paul and Silas, Barnabas and John Mark, Paul and Timothy, Paul and Titus, just to name a few! It is taught in Eph 4:11-16. Where the Bible says that the body of Christ is trained and equipped…and each part…each person does the work that they are supposed to do! Are you ready to be the next man up?
